The Coming Out Godless Project aims to normalize atheism and godlessness, while attempting to create a less unequal playing field for such a distrusted group. Personal experience stories have helped the LGBTPA community gain a more noticeable existence. Real words, real lives, real people coming together to share experiences and comments. That is the idea here.
There are a lot more nonbelievers in the world than some would assume. If they come out (whether to their families, friends, themselves, etc.) and tell their story, maybe this world will be a more welcoming place for everyone.
