Growing up, I always had an affinity for the arts as well as math and science. I read books about space and love science fiction. In my spare time I often edited quick movies, wrote poetry, short stories, and more. Occasionally, I’d paint or draw.
Upon graduating from the University of Miami (where I studied film production and creative writing), I moved to Los Angeles and entered the Warner Bros. Production Assistant Program. Somehow production accounting became a part of my duties and I quickly embraced it. Due to the crazy work schedules and lack of job security, I moved to an overhead position at Turner Broadcasting. I left my position there for a multitude of reasons and now I reside in Las Vegas.
Aside from that, I also wanted to learn computer languages such as HTML and the newly emerging CSS. So, I taught myself via internet research. I’m constantly learning new things and plan to learn (more) PHP whenever I get the chance.
I was always interested in graphic web design, which didn’t fully take a hold of me until I downloaded The Gimp. Recently, I started using Photoshop and Fireworks as well.
The most important thing I have learned is to never stop learning.
